Lisa Wiles Brown

Lisa Wiles Brown, age 46 of Creston, NC, passed away on July 27, 2022. Lisa was born on September 10, 1975 in Ashe County to the late James Wiles and Barbara “Sue” Wiles. Lisa always put everyone before herself. She loved children and counted the kids in the community as her family as well. She enjoyed nature and also loved flowers and plants. She adored animals, especially loved hummingbirds, and took care of any injured animals she could. Lisa’s dogs, Donkey and Lil’ Bit were her best friends. Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 15 years, Thomas Brown; son, Jeffrey Brown; step-son, T.J. Brown; sister, Robin Nethery (Neal); brother, Jamie Wiles (Katrina); step grandson, Cortland Brown; aunts and uncles, Sam and Lynn Greer, Tim and Becky Porter, Carolyn Blevins, Billy Joe and Sally Perry, Jimmy Dean and Betty Lou Greer, Eleanor Eldreth; nieces and nephews, Matt, Kendra, Dalton, Kameron, Dustin, Noelle, Holly, Brittney, Sonia, Tyler, Nick, Mia, Natalie, Gus, Brooke, Corbin, Cora, and Millie. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor Anthony Roark officiating. The graveside service will follow at Brown Cemetery (Todd, NC). Pallbearers will be Matt Nethery, T.J. Brown, Nathan Brown, Nick Wiles, Dustin Wiles, Tyler Reece, Dale Brown, Ronnie Brown, and Cade Thomas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
