Brent Langsdorf

Brent James Langsdorf, age 62, of Butler, Tennessee, passed away August 6, 2022 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born on July 27, 1960 to Donna Payne Arndt and the late Bruce Langsdorf. Brent served our country in the US Army, stationed in Germany. Later he became a specialist in night vision systems technology, traveling the world to support the users of products from Nightline of Mountain City. Many people remember his appearance on the TV episode of Modern Marvels: Night. Brent was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is now reunited with his true love, Cindy, who preceded him into the hereafter 4 years ago. Those left to cherish his memories include his mother; his daughter, Jalaina Stephens, and son, Brent Langsdorf Jr., both of Johnson City, TN; siblings Deb Gunther (Matt Gazo), Dwayne Langsdorf (Jacquie), and Michelle Katzka (Dean), all of Wisconsin; grandchild, Kyela Stephens; and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to say a special thanks to the members of his church and Brent's coworkers, who were like another family to him. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on August 9, 2022 at the Community Church of Mountain City, with Pastor Tim Cox Jr. officiating.
