Billie Jean Hayworth, age 23, of Mountain City, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 along with her fiancé, Billy Clay Payne. She was born on March 19, 1988 to the late Carl Dean Hayworth and Martha Pierce Hayworth. In addition to her father, Billie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dale and Ruth Pierce and paternal grandparents, Offie and Zonna Hayworth Sr. Billie enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go fishing, hiking, camping, running and also enjoyed playing volleyball. She also enjoyed going to flea markets, yard sales and auctions. Billie loved spending time with her family and friends, but more than anything, Billie loved spending time and taking care of her precious son, Tyler Dean Payne. She attended Victory Chapel Church. In addition to her mother, Martha Pierce Hayworth and fiancé Dewayne Landers of Mountain City, Tennessee; Billie is survived by her son, Tyler Dean Payne; sisters and brothers-in-law: Janie and Randy Henry of Mountain City, TN, Beverly Hayworth Morrell and husband Howard Morrell of Johnson City, TN; brothers and sisters-in-law: Gregory Dean and Sharon Hayworth of Boone, NC and Darrell Wayne and Linda Hayworth of NC; step grandmother, Wilma Hayworth of PA; nieces: Vanessa Hayworth, Haven Feltner; nephews: Gregory Clinton Hayworth and James Dean Hayworth; one great niece; one great nephew; several aunts, uncles and cousins and many, many special friends. Funeral Services for Billie Jean Hayworth and Billy Clay Payne will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the First Freewill Baptist Church with Pastors Billy Morefield and Pastor Gary Gambill officiating. The family will receive friends from 12-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Graveside Service and Interment will follow from Dunn Memorial Park Cemetery. Active Pallbearers for Billie Hayworth are J.D. Hayworth, Jimmy Easter , Randy Henry, Jimmy Hayworth, Kevin Hayworth and Greg Hayworth Jr. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Tyler D. Payne Fund, c/o Elizabethton Federal Bank, P.O. Box 65, Mountain City, TN 37683. This account will be used for the sole purpose of caring for baby Tyler D. Payne. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of her mother, 580 Slabtown Rd., Mountain City, TN 37683.
