Bobbie Jean Woodard Hill, age 76, of Trade, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, November 03, 2017 at her residence.  She was born on June 9, 1941 to the late P.J. and Lilly Sanders Miller.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ranson Woodard; daughter, Lilly Yvonne Greer; son, John David Woodard; sister, Dorothy Miller and brother, J.P. Miller. Fireworks was a passion of Jean’s and she had sold fireworks most of her life.  Most people knew her from Woody’s Fireworks, which she owned and operated.  She always carried her pistol with her and was known for her accuracy in shooting her .38 Special.  The most special thing about Jean was her heart of gold.  She was very generous, caring and giving.  Jean also enjoyed going to Cherokee.  More than anything she enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and reliving her childhood through her love and passion for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.      Those left to cherish her memories include her children, Connie Sue Stout; Teddy Manuel and wife Barbara and Michael ‘Tony’ Woodard; daughter-in-law, Angie Woodard; sisters:  Mae Manuel and Sue Martin; brothers:  Clyde Miller, Ivy Miller and Benny Miller; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; special friends:  Ann Hawkins and Joan Peters; several cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12-2:00 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2017 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Preacher Ken Phipps officiating.  Graveside service and interment will follow the funeral at the Miller-Main Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Anthony Woodard, Nevada Woodard, Devon Humphrey, Selmar Humphrey, James Stout and Jamie Lee Stout.  Honorary pallbearers are Charles ‘Chad’ Greer, Hunter Taylor, Andrew Greer Barnhill and Cyrus Gardner. At other times the family will receive friends at the home of her son, Tony Woodard, 10909 Hwy 421 S., Trade, TN. Condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.mountaincityfh.com .
