Wilson Frank Hodges, Jr.

Wilson Franklin Hodges, Jr., age 83 of Mountain City, passed away September 2, 2024. He was born December 12, 1940 to the late Wilson Franklin Hodges, Sr. and Reba Trivette Austin and grew up in Sugar Grove, NC.

Frank was a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed hunting and NASCAR. He was a hard worker and liked being outdoors and farming. He was a member of Vaught’s Gap Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish his memories include his daughter, Jolie Hodges; son, Will Hodges (Laura); sisters, Jan Austin, Betty Hodges, Dorothy Aragon; brother, Jimmy Hodges; grandchildren, Caleb and Kim; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor Chuck Morefield officiating. The graveside service and burial will follow.
