William “Bill” Allen Johnson Rescheduled service due to the weather : for Wednesday December 12, 2018 visitation 1-2:00 p.m. funeral at 2 o'clock. William “Bill” Allen Johnson, age 62, of Mountain City Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at is home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on October 1, 1956 in Kingsport, Sullivan County, TN. In addition to his son T.J. Johnson, Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Allen Johnson and Anna Pearl Waters Johnson and his father-in-law, Jack McCoy. To all who knew Bill he loved deer hunting, he enjoyed watching nascar racing and especially he loved his girls, Onna, Chloe and Karlee. Bill was a 1974 graduate of Johnson County High School. He is survived by his wife of 31 years; Jeanne McCoy Johnson, one daughter, Callie Johnson Dickens and Fiancé Michael Nichols, granddaughters, Chloe Johnson and Onna Riley Dickens, sister, Brenda Roark and husband Charlie, brother, Ronnie Johnson and wife Theresa, mother-in-law, Kate McCoy, sister-in-law, Amanda Hamm and husband Brian, two nieces, one nephew, one great nieces and two great nephew, several aunts, uncles and cousins, special friends, Logan Meredith and daughter Miyá. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Sunday December 9, 2018 at Mountain City Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Billy Morefield to officiate. Graveside Service and Burial will follow from the Phillippi Cemetery (weather permitting). Pallbearers will be Van Arnold, Matthew Lewis, Rocky Johnson, Jake Osborne, Jamie Osborne and Cody Meredith. Honorary Pallbearers are Cotton Johnson, Odell Johnson, Michael Nichols and Brian Hamm.
