Wayne Guinn

Wayne Guinn, age 75, of Greenville, TN, passed on Saturday evening September 12, 2020 at the Greenville Community Hospital East, Greenville, TN. Wayne was born October 5, 1944 in Johnson County, TN to the late Charles David Guinn and Ethel Georgia Morefield Guinn. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Geneva Eggers and by his brothers, Joe, Dave and Jack. Wayne loved his stuffed animals. He liked looking out his window at the birds eating their food. He loved taking a ride in the van and going to get something to eat and stopping to see the cows in the field. Wayne loved it when his family came to see him. Those left to cherish his memories included his sisters, Jean Baird, Mae Talley, Melissa McCullah, Lynn Gagliardi and husband AL; one brother, Mark Guinn; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to all the staff at Green Valley Skills, in Greenville, TN. There will be a viewing on Thursday September 17, 2020 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Mountain City Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at the Bakers Gap Cemetery with Wayne’s nephew, Terry Baird officiating. Pallbearers will be Keith Guinn, Kenny Poole, Clifton Worley, Adam Worley, Marshall Potter, and Junior Reece.
