Wanda Louise Painter, age 79, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on November 4, 2019. She was born on August 9, 1940 to Ted Worley and Opal Worley Campbell. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Shirley Kindley and Ola Mae Jennings and brother, Clifton Worley.   Wanda was a homemaker and loved to sew and work in her garden. She had a special love for her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family could always count on her to make holidays and birthdays extra special. Wanda was a lady of faith and could always be found teaching Sunday school and bible school. She was a member of Doe Valley Baptist Church.   Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 61 years, Glen Painter; daughters, Patricia Painter Henderson and husband Vance, Jennifer Painter and husband Christian; sister, Edna Burgess and husband Frank; brother, Theodore “Bud” Worley and wife Diane; grandchildren, Shanda Main and husband Cleveland, Preston Henderson, Brooke Perry and husband Jason, Brian Henderson and wife Julie, Shanta Williams and husband Corey; great grandchildren, Ulrich Main, Aurora Main, Lily Grace Henderson, Brianna Henderson, Leighanna Henderson, Ethan Henderson, Marissa Perry, Kala Perry, Jarren Perry, Lyric Perry, Nola Perry, Emily Bouton, Alyssa Bouton, Addison Bouton; several nieces and nephews.   There will be a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Mountain City Funeral Home with Pastors, Steven Spencer and Tyler Fenner officiating. A graveside service will follow at Morley Cemetery in Mountain City, Tennessee. Pallbearers will be Blake Fenner, Mike Fenner, Gary Roberts, Kenneth Proffitt, Sonny Gambill, Dennis Tester, Jamie Meade and Seth Fortune. Honorary pallbearers will be Earl Gambill, Tom Fortune, Bud Worley, Joe Atwood and George Lowe.   The family will receive friends at the home, 846 Dillon Road, Mountain City, TN 37683.   Condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.mountaincityfh.com.   The family of Wanda Painter has entrusted her services to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S.
