Walter Earl Woodard

  Walter Earl Woodard   Walter Earl Woodard, age 71, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Johnson County Community Hospital. He was born on May 28, 1947 to the late Columbus and Novela Curd Woodard.  He was preceded in death by two sisters, Shelby Woodard and Ramona Coffey.   Walter loved to farm. He worked at Watauga Medical Center for 25 years. He truly enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of Hammons Chapel Christian Church.   Those left to cherish his memories include his wife of 48 years, Wanda Woodard; daughter, Penny Mahala and husband Edward; son, Randall Woodard and wife Linda; sisters, Joyce Hudler and husband Bob, Shirl Newhouser and husband Ken; brothers, Earl Woodard and wife Bonnie, Raymond Woodard and Charles Woodard; grandchildren, Dale Mahala, Jordan Mahala, Dustin Woodard and Warren Woodard; great-granddaughter, Zayla Grayson and several nieces and nephews.   A private family service will be conducted Friday, October 19, 2018   At other times the family will receive friends at the home, 2530 Antioch Road, Mountain city, TN.   Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mountaincityfh.com.   The family of Walter Earl Woodard has entrusted his services to Mountain City Funeral Home located at 224 S.
