Voreda Gentry

Voreda Gentry, age 79, of Laurel Bloomery, TN passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at her home. She was born April 19, 1946 to the late Elbert and Victoria Gentry. In addition to her parents, Voreda was preceded in death by her sister, Destie Jane Greer, and brother, James Ashley Gentry.

Those left to cherish her memories include her daughters, Anita Kay Cook and Adina Patricia Grayson (fiancé, Jeff Phillippi); sons, Richard Eugene Grayson, Franklin Dale Grayson Jr., and Michael Clem Grayson (Amy); ten grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sue Gentry; two nieces and one nephew, and cousins; and her companion/dog, Bobby.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.at Mountain City Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Billy Morefield to officiate. The graveside service and burial will follow the funeral from the Stateline Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Grayson, Chris Dugger, Ernie Dugger, Chase Simpson, and Jeff Phillippi.
