Virginia Couch

Virginia Lee South Couch, age 92, passed away July 14, 2025. She was born November 16, 1932 to the late Clarence and Beulla South. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Couch; sister, Wandal South Lowe; brothers, Rondall South, Willard South; granddaughter, Jennifer Davis and special friends, Ivaline Malone, Betty Huddleston, and Bonnie Stout.

Virginia was a member of Little Doe Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memories include her daughter, Judy Caldwell and son-in-law, Ronnie Caldwell; grandchildren, Bridgett Simpson, Jacqueline Caldwell; great grandchildren, Jordan McKinney, Tatum Street, Kennedy Bacon, Trinity Bacon, Nathan Davis; niece, Rhonda Lowe and special friend, Carolyn Dixon.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2025 at Little Doe Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Preachers Craig Smith and Chuck Morefield officiating. The graveside service and burial will immediately follow the service at Rock Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cody Stout, Tom Snyder, Dwight Rasnick, Carl Peters, John Hammett, and Danny Huddleston. Honorary pallbearers are Jordan McKinney, Dr. Floyd Barker and Phillip Garver.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Little Doe Baptist Church building fund. The family would also like to thank Gentiva Hospice for all their support and care.
