Tonnie Eggers

Tonnie Shelene Eggers, age 53, passed away ­­­­­­­­­­­­Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born May 21, 1972 to the late Bob and Barbara Sedgwick. In addition to her parents, Tonnie was preceded in death by her sister, Regina Roark.

Tonnie was a strong, independent woman who was known for being feisty. She loved to work outside, especially weed eating. Tonnie had a green thumb and adored her beloved dogs.

Those left to cherish her memories include her daughters and grandchildren, Tiffany Minks (Alivia and Donovan), Megan Sedgwick (Emilynn, Konnor, Raiden, and Natalie), Heather Minks (Riley, River, Isabelle, Samuel, and Aria), Anna Morefield (Kingston); brothers, Cary Johnson, Joe Sedgwick, Bob Stoneking, and Jeff Stoneking; brother-in-law, Dennis Roark; special niece, Samantha Johnson; several other nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her dear best friend, Tammy Lewis.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. with Brother Mike Morefield to officiate. The burial will follow at Phillippi Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Sedgwick, Jeff Stoneking, Dennis Roark, Mike Accetta, Randy Thomas, and Shawn McElyea. Honorary pallbearers are Donovan Cooper, Casey Atkins, Allen Huffman, James Rhymer, and Steve Warren.
