Tommy “Flash” Ross Campbell, age 75, of Butler, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday morning, March 25, 2026 at his home. He was born February 4, 1951 to late Clifford Howard Campbell and Gladys Ruth Campbell. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Mack Campbell, Jim Campbell, Jack Campbell, John Campbell, Clifford Campbell; sisters, Peggy Roberts and husband Ernest, Ann Fritts; son-in-law, Travis McCloud; brother-in-law, Virgil Greer; brother-in-law, Raymond Buchanan and sister-in-law, Linda Campbell.
Tommy loved collecting racing items and going to NASCAR races. He was a member of Piercetown Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish his memories include his daughters, Michele McCloud and Angie D. Reece (Ray Potter); grandchildren, Brandy Campbell(Austin Harper) Tanya Hicks (Matt), Dalton McCloud, Sabrina Johnson (Jimmy) and Alisa Reece (Brandon Brown); great grandchildren, Serinity Harper, Jordyn Johnson, Bexley Reece, Axl Pennington, Drew Johnson, Leo Harper; sisters, Marsone Campbell, Linda Buchanan; brothers, Larry Campbell; special friends, Mike Phipps, Lynne and Glenn Estes, Sandi and Shorty Courtner and many more special friends; several special nieces and nephews and his best friend, Bullet his dog.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor Harvey white officiating. The graveside service and burial will follow at Pierce and Morley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matt Hicks, Chris Reece, Ray Potter, Jimmy Johnson, Corey Crumley, Dustin Greene, and Brandon Brown. Honorary pallbearers are Austin Harper, William Aschenback, Nathaniel Rice, and Brian Campbell.
