Timothy Smith

Timothy Lee Smith, age 60, passed away on October 19, 2022 at his home. Timothy was born on June 20, 1962 in Bristol, TN to Oscar Eldridge Smith and the late Shirley Hicks Smith. Timothy liked to work on cars and loved antiques and motorcycles. He was a very charismatic man and could talk to anyone. He loved and adored his grandchildren. Those left to cherish his memories include his daughter, Melinda Smith (Robert Hopkins); sisters, Debra Carter, Kristina Greene; brothers, Billy Smith, Christopher Smith; grandchildren, Logan Hopkins, Eli Hopkins, Emily Harless, Kaia Harless; step-granddaughters, Hannah and Chloe Hopkins; several nieces and nephews. No formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association (P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116) or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (give.cff.org).
