Skylar Branson

Skylar Alexander Branson, age 28, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025 in Asheville, NC. He was born in Caldwell County on January 11, 1997. Skylar was preceded in death by his uncle, Bobby Branson; aunt, Darlene Blakely; and cousin, Jamie Branson.

Skylar was a loving person who was funny and fun to be around. He had a lot of friends and loved his family dearly. He was an imaginative author who enjoyed writing poems and songs. Skylar was also a fitness buff and liked working out. He was very spiritual and enjoyed reading his Bible.

Those left to cherish his memory include his adoptive mother, Shelby Branson; his biological mother, Melody Branson; son, Braylon Arnold; aunts, Rita Branson, Angela Seekamp, and Diane Honeycutt; uncle, Michael Branson; siblings, Logan Branson, Peyton Carson, Shayla Faulkner, Danajah Seekamp, and Noah Carson; many cousins and special friends.
