Shirley J. Brown, age 89, passed away on Saturday morning, May 3, 2025 at Johnson City Medical Center. She was born February 15, 1936 to the late Charles Robert Sherman Crosswhite and Nellie Blanche Harper Crosswhite. In addition to her parents Shirley was preceded in death by her son Ervin Lewis; granddaughter, Cristal Blevins; sisters, Margie Horne and Opal Crosswhite; and brother, J.E. Crosswhite.

Shirley was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord and her family. She enjoyed weekends spent browsing yard sales and going to church.

Those left to cherish her memories include her sons, Darrell Lewis (Marilee) and Aaron Brown (Lorie); grandchildren, Mitchell Lewis (Mandy), Heather Lewis (Steven Boyette), Hanna Brown, Holly Brown, Heaven Brown, Kylie Reece, and Skylar Brown; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Lewis, Sophia Stanley, Emily Lewis, Thomas Garcia, and Kaylie Watson; several nieces and nephews.

The graveside service and burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025 from the Wilson Cemetery with Pastor Eddie Porter officiating. Pallbearers will be Jerry Horne, Gary Horne, Mitchell Lewis, Skylar Brown, Bert Garcia, and Eli Morris. Those who would like to travel in procession to the cemetery are asked to meet at the funeral home by 12:30 p.m.
