Sandra L. Kinstle, age 71, of Butler, Tennessee passed away at home July 1, 2026. “Love your neighbor, as yourself”, Sandy embodied this verse and lived it out as best she could.
A beloved wife of coming 45 years to Bill Kinstle; dog mom, expert welder, gardener, kind hearted, and some people’s Guardian Angel.
They were transplanted to Butler, Tennessee from Ohio. Sandy made her way in the world from the start. She is preceded in death by her mother, Leona and father, Paul Huffman; brothers, Edward J. and Tracy L.
Her nieces Rachel Spellman(Rich) and Audrey O’Brien(Matt) were dear to her heart and cherished. Multiple great –nieces and nephews from both sides of the family were special to her as well.
She shot straight and had the tough questions, as she lived a tough life. She chose her family and friends and lived by a code of honesty and hard knock work ethic. Her creativity and keen eye were shown through every inch of her home and land. She worked every day like she was on the farm. She saw potential and a spark even in the most unlikely people. Bill might admit she was a better welder than him. She led and explored where others hadn’t gone, being the first woman in welding at the Local 42. She left “sparks” wherever she went. There will be another star in the sky shining bright. Love you mean it. Till we meet again.
A memorial service for Sandra will be announced at a later time.
The family of Sandra L. Kinstle has entrusted her services to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S. Church Street, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683.
