Robert H Sanderson

Robert H. Sanderson, age 51, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the Johnson City Medical Center.  He was born on January 19, 1967 to the late Howard Gilbert Sanderson and Evie Elizabeth Roberts Sanderson. Robert owned and operated Sanderson Fire & Safety and was also a Correctional Officer at Northeast Correctional Complex.  Robert had many hobbies that he enjoyed during his leisure time but more than anything, he enjoyed spending time with Cara, Erica, Adam and his family. Those left to cherish his memories include his loving wife and best friend of 27 years, Cara Tarr Sanderson, his pride and joy, his children, Erica Sanderson and Adam Sanderson, sister, Sandra Richardson, mother-in-law, Dorothy Tarr, father-in-law, Dr. Donald Tarr and wife Carole, brothers-in-law, Bill Tarr and wife Connie, Jim Tarr and wife Michelle and Gene Tarr (deceased) and Cindy Tarr, several nieces and nephews and many special friends. A visitation will be held from 2-3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2018 at the Mountain City Seventh-Day Adventist Church (1231 Cold Springs Road, Mountain City, TN).  A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Mr. Ken Hodges officiating.  Graveside service and inurnment will follow at the McQueen Cemetery (located behind the church).
