Raymond Carroll Eller, age 74, of Shady Valley, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. He was born August 14, 1951 to the late Carl Eller and Rosalee Eller. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Angie Eller; and brother, Reford Eller.

Raymond was a loving and sweet man. He loved being outdoors mowing, building and fixing things with his brother Wayne. He loved coloring and drawing, especially with his best friend and grandson Corbin. Raymond loved being a Papa, he and Corbin were inseparable. They often went fishing, practiced baseball, playing outside and hanging out in Papa’s chair watching TV. As a Papa, he was a protector from bugs and bears, a mandarin orange and peach pourer, and a great father figure and role model for Corbin, He loved his family and friends, he will be missed by all who knew him.

Raymond was a member of Shady Valley Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of almost 31 years, Cindy Eller; daughters, Jennifer Eller of the home and Rebecca Reece; grandchildren, Corbin Eller of the home, Ethan Reece and Hailie Reece; brothers, Wayne Eller and Malcolm Eller; one nephew, Eric Eller; three great nephews, Trevor Eller, Colin Eller, Simon Eller; one great great nephew; two aunts, June and Maudine.

It was Raymond’s wish to be cremated and no formal service will be held.
