Peggy Pope

Peggy Pope, age 75, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 25, 1947 in Philadelphia, PA. Peggy was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Jada Marie. Peggy was a caring lady with a big heart. She loved all animals but especially her dogs, Biscuit, Maya, and Sandy. Peggy enjoyed Pepsi, she joked it was her favorite food, and playing Bingo. Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 44 years, Tony Pope; daughter, Sharon Pope; grandchildren; Samantha Ross and Joan “Jojo” Clark; great-grandchildren, Breyonna Clark, Marshall Towne, and Malachi Towne; and several nieces and nephews. It was Peggy’s wish to be cremated and no formal service be held. Condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.mountaincityfh.com.
