Peggy McComas

 Peggy Louise McComas, age 86, of Shady Valley, TN, passed away on Friday morning, June 7, 2024 at her home. She was born on December 20, 1937 in Westminster, MD to the late Leland Taylor Barksdale and Margaret Barber Barksdale. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Weldon McComas Jr.; sister, Jean Barksdale Myers; and great-grandson, Jackson A. Ray.

Those left to cherish her memories include her daughters, Susan Haines and husband Ronald of Littlestown, PA; Laurie McComas and husband William Clark of Lake Helen,  FL; son, Scott Wesley McComas of Shady Valley, TN; eight grandchildren, Brandon, Kyle, Nikki, Bobbie Sue, Sarah, Becky, Tim and Megan; great grandchildren, Michaela, Leah, Levi Aubree,Rylee, Paislee, 

Jonathan and Jaxton;  brother, William (Billy) Leland Barksdale of Westminster, MD;

It was Peggy’s request to be cremated and that no formal service be held.
