Paul Johnson

Paul Winston Johnson, age 78 of Johnson City, TN, passed away March 29, 2024. Paul was born September 22, 1945 in Pikeville, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Darrell Johnson and his siblings, Robert “Bob” Johnson, Lois Simpkins and Deannie Johnson.

Paul was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and United States Navy. Paul served his country during Vietnam, where he also lost his beloved brother, Bob, in combat.

Survivors include his children, Micah Johnson, April Johnson, and Holly Malave; grandchildren, Nora and Layna Malave and nephew, Robert “Buzz” Simpkins.

There will be no formal service held.

The family of Paul Winston Johnson has entrusted his care to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S. Church Street, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683.
