Norma Blevins

Norma Jean Blevins, age 84 of Blountville, TN went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 24, 2025 at The Waters of Kingsport, TN. She was born on October 3, 1941 in Mountain City, TN to the late William (Willie) Forrester and Dorothy Blankenbeckler Forrester. In addition to her parents Norma was preceded in death by two sisters, Beverly Rutter and Phyllis Blevins, two brothers, Michael Forrester and Edd Forrester.

Norma was a Hairdresser for many years and then she worked until retirement at Walmart of Bristol, TN. She attended Village Baptist Church of Bristol, TN.

Norma is survived by her husband of 64 years, Kenneth Blevins, one daughter, Cher Demeza (Joel) and one son, Aaron Blevins (Pam), grandmother to Josh Blevins (Makayla), Haley Blevins, Tyler Blevins, Leo Demeza, Ava Demeza, Katie Smith and bonus grandchild, Marcie Ward. She is also survived by one sister, Lois Wright, two brothers, Jack Forrester (Barbara) and Scott Forrester (Shirley), several nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers –in- laws and their families.

The family will receive friends on Saturday November 29, 2025 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Mountain City Funeral Home with Pastor’s Robert Carty and Scott Knight officiating. The graveside service and burial will follow at Phillippi Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons along with family and friends.
