Norene Smith

Norene Smith, age 95, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 at her home. Norene was born on March 10, 1926 to the late Mack Ivan Payne and Beddie Johnson Payne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sanford Smith; son, Ronald (Rasty) Smith; and grandson, Kevin Scott Pardue. Norene was a wonderful gardener who enjoyed being outdoors and taking care of her property. She loved going to church and was a member of Liberty Christian Church. Those left to cherish her memories include her daughter, Eunice Snyder; grandchildren, Brian Pardue and Steven (Puddy) Pardue; great-grandchildren, Justin Pardue, Kevin Pardue, and Chase Main. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday February 2, 2022 at the Phillippi Cemetery with Travis Long to officiate. Pallbearers will be Justin Pardue, Kevin Pardue, Steven Pardue, Brian Pardue, Danny Cornett, and Neil Arnold. Condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.mountaincityfh.com.
