Naomi "June" Roberts

Naomi “June” Roberts, age 85 of Mountain City, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025 at the Mountain City Care Center. June was born on March 15, 1940 in Mountain City, Johnson County, Tennessee to the late Kyler Greer and Callie Lou Eastridge Greer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Earl Roberts, sisters, Ruth Horne and Violet Taggert, brothers, Fred Greer and Hunter Greer.

June enjoyed playing the guitar and piano. She also enjoyed working in her flowers. June loved raising children and going to the pond to fish. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memories include her son, Michael Greer; nieces, Judy Snyder (and the late Joe Pat Snyder) Sandy Roberts, Wanda McMurry and husband Craig, Linda Coleman, Barbara Arnold and husband Frank; special great niece, Raina Sluder and husband Craig and their children Kalli Garland and husband Jerad and their daughter, Millie Grace Garland, Dalton Sluder, Special nephew, Nicholas Arnold, several great nieces and nephews, special friends Helen Gentry and Eileen Michaels.

There will be a graveside service held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, August 25, 2025 at the Eastridge Cemetery (Deer Run Rd.) with Pastor Billy Morefield officiating. Pallbearers will be Craig Sluder, Frank Arnold.
