Nancy Kilby

Nancy Ann Kilby, age 79, passed away May 4, 2025 at Gateway Rehab of Lenoir. Nancy was born February 28, 1946 to the late Rhoda McElyea Hilton and Arch Isaacs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Kilby; son, James Roy Kilby in 2008; brother, Tom Isaacs; grandparents, Betty and Roy McElyea; sisters-in-law, Mabel Payne, Dorothy Coolidge, Marie Widener, Belle Phillips and brother-in-law, Millard Kilby.

Nancy was an animal lover, especially dogs and cats. Over the years, one of her favorite things to do was travel to Shady Valley with her husband, Coy. They shared 57 wonderful years of marriage. She was of the Baptist faith.

Those left to cherish her memories include her daughter, Betsy Lail and husband Robert; grandchildren, Robert Lail Jr., Joshua Ray Lail; sister-in-law, Edna Bowling; special friends, Gary and Tammy Davis; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Damascus, VA with Ken Phillips officiating.
