Matthew Chul Richardson was born on August 13, 1984 in Seoul, South Korea. Glen and Drema Richardson had the joy of adopting him and welcoming him into their family when he was eight months old. Matthew had two parents and an older sister who would love him tremendously, as well as a younger brother that would join the family a few years later. As Matthew went from childhood to adulthood, he continued to be a joy to all who knew him. Friends, co-workers, family- he was loved by all. Matthew fought a brave battle against cancer the last two years of his life. Through chemo, radiation, and several life altering surgeries, he never complained. He fought until the end with dignity, courage, and above all, strength. Those blessed to know Matthew include his parents, Glen and Drema Richardson, his sister, Kristi, and his brother, Jesse. His close family includes his uncles and aunts, Clay Wilson, Linda Brown, Pauline and Buddy Greer; numerous cousins; best friends, Chris Farrow and Calvin Williams and dear family friends, Sandra and Henry Bruemer. A private graveside service will be held on November 8, 2022. Though we are saddened Matthew is no longer with us, we take heart in knowing that he is in Heaven with his Savior. Until we meet again, Matthew…hail to the GBB.
