Mark Brown

Mark Stephen Brown, age 57, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at his residence. Mark was born on August 14, 1964 to the late Claude Brown and Betty Flannigan Brown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betsy Wagner-Brown; sister, Kathy Evans and brothers, George Brown and John Brown. Mark loved the outdoors and fishing. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh with a good joke. He was a hard-working man and a great father, grandfather, and friend. Those left to cherish his memories include his daughter, Christian Brown; son, Johnny Brown; sister, Nancy McFadden; brothers, Jack Brown, Jim Brown; grandchildren, Jayden Greer, Stephen Greer, Riley Greer, Emily Norton, Halee Brown; great grandson, Elijah Norton; special friend, Brenda Greer; aunt, Stella Rose Tester; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 30, 2021 at Mountain City Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Sam Icenhour officiating.
