Mack R. Williams

Mack Randall Williams, age 69, of Jimmy Hollow Rd., Butler, TN; passed away on Monday April 20, 2026 at his home. Mack was born April 1, 1957 in Carter County, TN to the late Preston and Anna Mae Oliver Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Goldie Luckett, and brothers, Ivan Williams and Doris Oliver.

Mack was a great man and lived a simple life. He was always willing to help others and was a hard worker. He loved to ride his motorcycle and he enjoyed ginseng hunting, fishing, farming, and the outdoors. He was a very strong man, and he had great love for his family. He enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends, along with his two dogs, Jax and Biscuit. He was a faithful Christian and lived his life for Jesus. He attended Rock Springs Church of Christ. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Mack is survived by his wife of 31 years, Susan Heaton Williams; son, Dillon Williams and wife Courtney Williams and a special grandbaby on the way; daughter, Jessica Gomes; sisters, Cassie Church, Donna Roberts; brothers, Eddie Williams, Jewel Williams; nephew, Brandon Williams and his children, Preston and Paisley who cheered Mack up with their visits, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 pm. with Harold Morefield officiating. The burial will follow the service at Williams Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Blevins, Vance Gentry, Justin Howes, Joey Luckett, Brandon Williams, and Dillon Williams.
