Lynn Cuddy

Lynn Ciccarelli Cuddy, age 74, of Shady Valley, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon, VA.  She was born on July 15, 1944 to the late Angelo and Teresa Argenio Ciccarelli.  In addition to her parents, Lynn was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Cuddy, who passed on Dec 21, 2017. Lynn was a graduate of Albertus Magnus College in New Haven.  She also attended the University of Bridgeport for graduate work in education.  Lynn was a current employee of Farmers State Bank, where she has worked for over 25 years.  She was very passionate about her job and went above and beyond to serve her customers.  She took great pride in all that she did.  She was always putting other people before herself and was very caring and giving.  Lynn loved flowers and enjoyed being outside and found great peace working in her garden as well as cooking. Lynn was an active member of Harmon Chapel Christian Church. Those left to cherish Lynn’s memories include her in-laws, Toby Cuddy, Tim Cuddy and Cindy Cuddy; nieces, Cheri Szymanski and Tracey Testa; nephews, Kevin Cuddy and Donnie Keels; special ‘grandchildren’, Kyle Szymanski, Jacob Szymanski and Joshua Szymanski; her family at Farmers State Bank and her church family. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Harmon Chapel Christian Church with Pastor Howard Taylor officiating.  A celebration of life service will follow at 7:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials in Lynn’s memory be made to the Harmon Chapel Christian Church, 1445 Hwy 133, Shady Valley, TN 37688 Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mountaincityfh.com.
