Lorraine Gerard

Lorraine Hope Gerard, age 92, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Hillview Nursing Home. She was born January 5, 1934 to the late John and Edith Mansfield. In addition to her parents, Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Gerard.

Lorraine had a fondness for gardening, where she could enjoy the beauty of nature, and antique shopping, where she enjoyed discovering unique treasures and pieces of the past. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her beloved nieces, Lorie, Carrie, Sue, and Renee. The time she shared with them held a special place in her heart and created memories to be cherished for years to come. Lorraine also enjoyed traveling and had the opportunity to visit many places throughout Europe, a part of the world she especially loved. She also enjoyed spending time in Florida and Tennessee, making memories along the way.

Lorraine is survived by her sons, Peter Gerard and wife Oana, and Christopher Gerard; granddaughter, Stephanie Gerard; and several nieces and nephews.

No formal services will be held.

The family of Lorraine Gerard has entrusted her care to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S. Church Street, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683.
