Linda South

Linda E. South, age 68, passed away June 15, 2025 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. Linda was born December 24, 1956 to Mary Tester and the late Coy Coe. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her stepdad, Bob Tester; sister, Lisa Bennett; nephew, Jordan Main and her favorite uncle, Arlton May.

Linda was a very loving and caring lady. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and liked listening to music and watching the birds.

Those left to cherish her memories include her mother, Mary Tester; daughter, Amanda Furches; sisters, Sandy Price, Lorie Zink; brother, David Coe; grandchildren, Kristen Roark (Ethan Tester), Jada Furches; niece, Cheyanne Lewis; special friend, Jerry Rhymer and her many neighbors the apartments on Wayland Street.

The graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 20, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
