Linda Forrester Miller

Linda Forrester Miller, age 73, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Life Care Center of Elizabethton.

Born on April 16, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Darius Charles Forrester and Ruby Lois Wilson Forrester. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved chosen sister, Phyllis Falin.

Linda enjoyed ceramics, coloring, and traveling when she was able. Christmas was her favorite season, and she treasured spending time with family and friends. She was a lifetime member of Dewey Christian Church.

Linda will be remembered for her caring heart, her resilience, and the love she shared with those around her. Her family will especially cherish the memories made together over the years, including childhood trips gemstone mining in Spruce Pine, North Carolina, followed by meals together that became treasured traditions.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Mark Miller of Mystic, Connecticut; son #2, William Valdez; son #3, Matthew Kohudic; her sister, Paula Forrester; her oldest and dearest friend, Thelma Pierce Cook; grandpuppy, Ruby; several nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Mountain City Funeral Home, with the funeral service to follow. Minister Maurice Widener to officiate. Burial will folllow at Wilson Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be William Valdez, Matthew Kohudic, Paul Jones, Freddy Lynn Wilson, James Wilson, and Shane Reece. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Wilson and Scott Forrester.

The family extends its heartfelt appreciation to Adams Pharmacy, especially her pharmacist, Jordan, for the kindness and compassionate care shown to Linda over the years.
