Lillian Bostick

Lillian Byrd Bostick, passed from this life to her Heavenly home on November 25, 2022. Her parents, JC Byrd and Louise Tucker Byrd, welcomed her into their lives in Taylor County, Georgia where she grew up. A graduate of Reynolds High School, Lillian remained in touch with fellow graduates throughout the years. She was introduced to her future husband by a high school classmate while living in Macon, Ga. She and Wilton Edwin Bostick enjoyed life together as parents of their lovable dogs. Lillian pursued a career in communication with Southern Bell Telephone Company in Macon, Ga. and retired from the company after 30 years. Later, she enjoyed a second career with then, Trust Company of Georgia in Macon. After her second retirement, Lillian moved to Trade, Tennessee where she enjoyed meting new friends and living in the mountains. She was preceded in death by her parents, JC and Louise Byrd and her husband, Wilton Edwin Bostick. She is survived by her sisters, Eloise Brewer of Mountain City, TN, Leila Schurter of North Andover, MA; brothers-in-law, M.V. Bostick of Macon, GA, Rick Brewer of Mountain City, TN; several nieces and one nephew. In keeping with her Baptist faith, a service will be held in the mausoleum chapel at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Macon, Georgia at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2022.
