Lena Faye Townsend

Lena Faye Townsend, age 63, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at the Bristol Regional Medical Center.  She was born on December 17, 1955 to the late William and Margaret Fritz.  In addition to her parents, Lena was preceded in death by her husband Frank Townsend and sister, Marie Hamby.

Lena was a very special sister.  She was very loving and good hearted person who was always giving to others and putting others first.

Those left to cherish her memories include her sister, Julia Hamby; brothers, Freddy Fritz and John Fritz; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m.  Graveside service and interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Mountain City Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
