Lawrence Fritts

Lawrence Edward Fritts, age 87, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at his home. He was born July 27, 1938 in Johnson County, TN to the late John Milton Fritts and Dorothy Simcox. In addition to his parents, Lawrence was preceded in death by his loving wife, Alma Ruth Fritts.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Will Kerley and Trey Fritts officiating. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Honorary pallbearers are Travis Bishop, Thomas Lepick, Stewart Fritts, Doug Fritts, Dez Ward, Doug Lewis, and Jerry Brown.
