Larry Dale Huskins

Larry Dale Huskins, age 73, of Laurel Bloomery, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at the Johnson City Medical Center.  He was born on November 4, 1945 to the late Jim and Doris (Fritts) Huskins.  In addition to his parents, Larry has preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Horne Huskins, who passed away 2003. 

He loved sports and was an avid NASCAR and Miami Dolphins fan.  He had a laughter that would light up a room.  He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed going to their ballgames.  Larry enjoyed passing time sitting on his front porch.  He was a simple man who lived a simple life.

Those left to cherish his memories include his son, Kevin Huskins and wife Meghan; sister, Deloras Johnson and husband Jack; brother, Paul Huskins and wife Wanda; grandchildren, Connor Huskins, Dylan Huskins and Cayden Huskins; sister-in-law, Carolyn Woods and husband Richard ‘RC’Woods; special cousin, Shirley Watson and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service and interment will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2019 at the Phillippi Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain City Funeral Home.
