Kimberly McQueen Henty

Kimberly Michelle McQueen Henty, born July 1, 1977, passed away December 14, 2025. Kim is survived by her parents, Daniel and Elizabeth “Polly” McQueen of Shady Valley, TN; sister, Andrea Patuszynski and husband Scott; her special nephews, Nolan and Luke Patuszynski of Kingsport, TN; and her special cat, Grayson. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Kim was a graduate of Johnson County High School and East Tennessee State University. She was employed with the Boca Raton Parks and Recreation Centers in Boca Raton, Florida.

Kim had an insatiable love for reading, always seeking out new stories and books that sparked her imagination. She was a great cook and enjoyed feeding friends and family. Travel was also one of Kim’s great joys. She was a member of Harmon Chapel Christian Church.

Kim was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew her kind heart, witty sense of humor, and infectious laughter. We will miss her deeply. Her legacy of kindness, love, and generosity will remain with us always.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Harmon Chapel Christian Church. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Randall Johnson officiating. The graveside service and burial will follow the funeral from Shady Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers are Nolan and Luke Patuszynkski.
