Kevin Noel Mullis, age 52, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024 at his home. Kevin was born October 10, 1971. He was preceded in death by his biological father, William Mullis, Jr.; his brother, David Mullis; grandmothers, Ethel Woods and Louise Eller; and nephew, Daniel Mullis.

 

Kevin was a Johnson County native and a devoted member of Vaught’s Gap Baptist Church. He had a heart of gold and will be missed by all. Kevin was loved by everyone.

 

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Danny and Carolyn Eller; grandmother, Frances Mullis; sister, Chequita Meade; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Vaught’s Gap Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastors Chuck Morefield and Michael Icenhour officiating. The graveside service and burial will follow from Slimp Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Collin Meade, Will Courtner, Aden Neatherly, Jackson Baker, Aaron Dolinger, and Dreason Black. Honorary pallbearers are the men of Vaught’s Gap Baptist Church.

 

The family of Kevin Mullis has entrusted his services to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S. Church Street, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683.
