Kenny Farmer

Kenneth “Kenny” Gale Farmer, age 70, passed away August 26, 2026 at his home in Saltville, VA. Kenny was born May 26, 1956 to the late Gale and Lorean Farmer.

Kenny was a very talented vehicle repairman who enjoyed doing body work. He loved all things cars including racing and car shows. He also once worked for Nascar and loved Harley Davidson motorcycles. He adored and cherished his kids and grandkids.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of almost 21 years, Bonnie Farmer; daughter, Crystal Stines (Robert); son, Kevin Farmer (Jill); step mother, Judy Farmer; brother, Ray Farmer; step siblings, Rebecca French, Elizabeth Greer; grandchildren, Axel, Eli, Harleanna; stepson, Toby Jones (April, and her children, Branson (Mary), Kyrah and her child Kaiden, Corey (Sharlie); and his beloved dog, Riggs.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Dunn Cemetery (Forge Creek Road, Mountain City, TN 37683). Pallbearers will be family and friends. Military honors will be accorded by the Johnson County Honor Guard.
