Karen Trivette

Karen Annette Trivette, age 59, of Creston, North Carolina passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026 at her home. She was born April 26, 1967 to the late Ralph Spencer Roark and Jaqueline Phillips Roark.

Karen loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to the beach, camping, and kayaking. She worked for over 20 years as the Postmaster at the Jefferson Post Office in Jefferson, NC.

Karen attended Smethport Missionary Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 42 years, Roger Trivette; daughters, Stacy Kennedy (Jeremy Munday), Tiffany Kerr, and Cheyenne Barker and husband Chandler; grandchildren, Kylee, Bentley, Jayce, Brooklyn, Lainey, and Hallie; sisters, Debbie Eller, Peggy Williams, and Martha Roark; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, 2026 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastors Jimmy Williams and Phil Arnold to officiate. Burial will follow at Big Oak Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Munday, Chandler Barker, Tony Eller, Joey Williams, David Trivette, and Tim Marholz.
