Judy Ann Icenhour, age 73, passed away July 1, 2025 at Mountain City Care Center. Judy was born October 3, 1951 to the late Milburn and Mary Icenhour. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.
Judy was a proud member of Calvary Baptist Church for 73 years and an Awana teacher and Sunday school teacher for 35 years. She enjoyed helping with Awana and anything to do with assisting at church. She also liked coloring and being with family, especially her nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Those left to cherish her memories include her sisters, Shirley Potter and husband Rick, Joyce Icenhour; special nieces, Amy Sluder (Jon), Teresa Clark; special nephew, Jason Bunting; nephews, Brady, Sam, Nathan, AJ; great nieces, Madison, Charity; uncle, Rob Wilcox; special friend, Carolyn Eller, Jean Eller, and several cousins.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastors Steven Spencer, Michael Icenhour, and Sam Icenhour officiating. The graveside service and burial will immediately follow at Johnson Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Bunting, Jon Sluder, Brady Potter, Sam Blevins, AJ Sluder, and Nathan Clark.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Awana Program at Calvary Baptist Church 1354 Cold Springs Road, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683.
The family would like to thank Mountain City Care and Rehab Center for their compassionate care.
