Jon Price

Jon Price, age 61, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Jon was born May 21, 1964 in Ashe County to the late Junior and Frances Price.

Jon knew everyone because he helped everyone. He truly had a servant’s heart and offered assistance to everyone in need, from family members to inmates. Jon was an extremely hard worker and used to enjoy hunting and fishing in what spare time he had. He fiercely loved his family and was steadfast in his faith. Jon was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish his memories include his daughter, Tiffany Price (Hunter); sons, Jon C. Price and Brandon Adams; sister, Dawn Leiker; brothers, Franklin Price, Anthony Price, and Jason Gooch; grandchildren, Maverick, Fox, Talia, Sasha, and Dietrich; nieces and nephews, Rachel, Kenny, Montana, and Brooke; lifelong friends, Thomas Price, Lynn Farmer, and Belinda Price.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Tony Potter officiating.

At other times the family will receive friends at 617 Modock Road, Trade, TN.
