Johnny A. Reece Johnny A. Reece, age 93, of 1173 Bulldog, Trade, TN passed away on Friday evening, December 3, 2021 at Johnson City Medical Center. He was born in Watauga County, NC on November 2, 1928 to the late Ed Reece and Sarah Johnson Reece. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Jewel Reece, and brothers, Arvil Reece and Burl Reece. Johnny was a hard worker. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Those left to cherish his memories include his wife of 60 years, Jo Ann Reece; son, Jerry Reece and wife Jennett; sisters, Marie Mast and Betty Lewis; grandchildren, Shane Reece and wife Amanda and Brittany Reece; great grandchildren, Ethan Reece, Alyssa Holmes, Payten Faries, and Caleb Faries; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m.. The graveside service and burial will follow at Trade Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
