John Wiley Arnold John Wiley Arnold, age 66, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. He was born October 1, 1953 in Johnson County, TN to the late Hobart Arnold and Ruby Daughtery Arnold. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his step-mother, Earlean Miller; sisters, Phyllis Walls and Ethel Greer; brother, James Arnold. John was a hardworking man. He loved his family and spending time with them. John had many special friends. He enjoyed his little dog “Sandy”. Those left to cherish his memories included his wife of 42 years, Kathy Shaw Arnold; daughters, Melissa Arnold, Jessica Arnold and son-in-law Jim Anson; grandchildren, Ciara, Brionna, Skyler and Jordan; sisters, Doris Ann Lewis, Mary Lewis, Margaret Dyer, Martha Dowell; step-sister, Becky Falls; half-sister, Peggy Nichols; half-brothers, Noah Arnold, Glenn Arnold and David Arnold; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Wayne Taylor. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 21, 2020 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Mountain City Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 4:00 p.m. with Billy Morefield and Anthony Roark officiating. Graveside service and burial will follow from the Wesley Chapel Cemetery (188 Eastridge Rd. Mountain City, TN.) Pallbearers will be Jim Anson, Greg Treadway, Benny Campbell, Wayne Taylor, Troy (Bo) Hamm, and Bradley Arnold.
