John William Cross

John William Cross, 85, of Bunker Hill, WV, sadly left us on September 18, 2023 surrounded by his family.

Born March 31, 1938 in Jefferson, NC, he was the son of Alfred Franklin and Virginia Maud (Sharp) Cross. John retired from Sears with 30 years of service.

He is survived by his wife Margaret J. Cross, son Johnnie A. Cross and wife Brenda; son Michael W. Cross, granddaughters Heather M. Cross and Holly L. Cross; sister Debbie Roderick and husband Skipp of MD; brothers Gary Cross and wife Ellen of PA, Kenny Cross and wife Pat of PA, and Edward Cross of TN.

He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby J. Cross; a brother Larry Cross; and sister Linda Cross.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
