Joan I. Rainbolt

  Joan I. Rainbolt   Joan Peters Rainbolt, age 70, of Butler Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Saturday evening December 14, 2019 at her home.  She was born on November 13, 1949 in Johnson County, TN, to Rosa Peters. In addition to her mother, Joan was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Rainbolt.    Joan was a very sweet lady who had a lot of faith in the lord .She was a member of Little Doe Baptist Church. Joan loved her family very much and had many special friends.   Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Angela Johnson and husband Anthony (Andy), son, Brian Rainbolt and wife Lori, grandchildren, Tiffany Wilson and husband Bobby and Ethan Johnson, step Grandson, Lucas Cretsinger, nephew, Craig Peters, great nephew, Cole Peters.   The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Mountain City Funeral Home from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. with Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastors, Kreg Smith and Greg Thompson to officiate. Graveside service will follow at Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ethan Johnson, Andy Johnson, Bobby Wilson, Jonathan Pleasant, Ed Courtner, and Craig Peters. Honorary Pallbearers are Donnie Hampton, Darin Isaacs, Eddie Peters, Ed Fletcher, and Charles Norris.     In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Johnson County Cancer Support, 3510 Hwy 421 N, Mountain City, TN 37683.   At other times the family will receive friends at the home, 446 Doeville Rd., Butler, TN 37640.   Condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.mountaincityfh.com.   The family of  Joan I.
