Jimmy Jennings

Jimmy Jennings, age 58, passed away August 5, 2026. Jimmy was born January 13, 1968 to Phyllis Losito. Jimmy was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Bonnie Wilcox.

Jimmy had a passion for the outdoors and found joy in hunting and fishing. He was also a skilled craftsman and took great pride in building homes that he learned from his Papaw John. Over the years he also took on another role as coach. When he wasn’t outdoors or working he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also was a big NASCAR fan, especially Dale Earnhardt.

Those left to cherish his memories include his wife of 33 years, Tammy Jennings; mother, Phyllis Losito and husband Anthony; daughter, Jayme Jennings and husband Bailey Brown; son, Craig Jennings and wife Cate; brothers, Joey Jennings and wife Shannon, Vince Losito and wife Kate; aunt, Sharon D'Amico and husband Johnny; uncle, Johnny Wilcox and wife Brenda; nieces, Cassie and Brooke Jennings; special cousin, Shirley Potter and husband Rick; special friends, Randy Forrester, Steve Marshall, Mo Marshall, Micah Cretsinger, Jamie Blevins, Benny Shupe, Adam Sauer and Alan Hammons.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Sam Icenhour officiating. Graveside service and burial will follow. Pallbearers will be Jayme Jennings, Craig Jennings, Bailey Brown, Bob Smedley, Joey Jennings and Vince Losito.
