Jesse Lemons

Jesse Lemons     Jesse Lemons, of Zionville, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 15, 2018. He was born June 21, 1988 and just turned 30.  Jesse was a young man who never married but he had a large family, his mother Margo Lemons, six sisters; Heidi Natole, Rachael Hilliard, Jennifer Hilliard, Holly Johnson, Rebekah Lemons and Carolyn Lemons, one brother, Caleb Lemons, six nieces, Em Hazlewood, Maria Johnson, Haley Lemons, Abigail Hilliard, Ella Natole and Summer Johnson Crisp, seven nephews, Gabriel Hilliard, Robert “Buddy” Johnson, Levi Lemons, Gavin Hilliard, Phoenix Hilliard, Maverick Hendry and Easton Hendry. His youngest niece was born on his birthday so his birthday will always be a celebration every year. His large family kept him very busy as he always made time for them and included them in his projects. Jesse had a passion for riding his motorcycle. His hobbies were creating his own ammunition and even building his own AR-15’s. He also enjoyed target shooting and fixing his cars, as well as hitting golf balls off the side of the mountain. At a very young age Jesse had to take on the role as man of the house, helping us all and providing for many of our needs. He was always dependable and had a talent for fixing almost anything. It was almost like second nature the way he did things so effortless. His determination led him to always get the job done. Jesse always had a lot of compassion for helping others, even saving numerous creatures. He will always be remembered as a selfless young man who worked very hard. He was a peacekeeper in the family. He made each of us feel special in our own way. Jesse always said he would come home and he always did. I thank God he was with us for 30 years and know he would be here with us still if God didn’t need him home again. We will always find it comforting to know that Jesse was riding free the day he passed away. He had no fear and lived life to the fullest, doing what he loved. No words can describe how much Jesse is loved and will be missed. Thoughts and memories of the wonderful person Jesse was will live on in our hearts forever.   Visitation for Jesse will be Saturday, July 28, 2018 beginning at 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. from Mountain City Funeral Home with a memorial service at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mountaincityfh.com
