Jennifer Lynn Main, age 48, of Vilas, North Carolina, passed away on November 19, 2018 at the Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born on July 12, 1970 to Sue Wilcox Reece and the late Ted Stephens. In addition to her father, Jennifer was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Schaller and grandparents, Lloyd and Nelly Stephens.
Jennifer was the Patient Access Director for Appalachian Regional Healthcare Centers. Jennifer was a very kind and caring person with a heart of gold. She was a people person and touched many lives, assisting people with SS, Medicare, Medicaid and Disability benefits.
She loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed riding horses. Jennifer also enjoyed sports, especially softball. Her daughters were the light of her life and she made sure to be there for all of their milestones and special events. She was at all of their special activities and sports, always, always cheering them on.
Jennifer was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 19 years, Darren Main; light of her life, her daughters, Ashley and Bailey Main; mother, Sue Reece; brothers, Jeff Stephens and wife Patty and Billy Reece and wife Carrie; aunts, Kate Stephens and Lennis Snyder and many more special family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the Evergreen Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Tony Potter officiating. Graveside service and interment will follow at Beech Valley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Trivette, Hadley Townsend, Tony Townsend, Pride Arrington, Dusty McGlamery and Edward Main. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Wayne Houck, all of her many special friends and her church family at Evergreen Baptist.
